Cement Terminal Plant Operator

About the role

Carror Concrete is part of CRH, a leading vertically integrated supplier of asphalt, aggregates, cement, ready-mix concrete, and paving and construction services in North America. As a company that values its employees' experience and hard work, they are seeking a Cement Terminal Plant Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Terminal Manager with Ready-Mix operations
• Conducting internal transfers of product between tanks
• Loading tanker trucks by using the loading system from holding tank
• Performing inventory functions
• Conducting safety and security rounds
• Weighing trucks in and out
• Light maintenance and repair of facility, grounds and equipment
• Providing customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar position preferred
• Knowledge of terminal operations and safety procedures
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job

• Operational knowledge of terminal equipment
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills

Pay

$25.00/hour or more based on experience with annual increase potential!
