Cement Mason
Roger Langeliers Construction Co. is looking for a dedicated, skilled Cement Mason to be a key part of our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with a focus on teamwork. You’ll be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and survey data to mark out specific areas accurately.
- Prepare, pour, and finish concrete structures using various techniques and tools.
- Perform different types of finishes including hand trowel, broom, exposed, and curb finishes.
- Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and practices, including OSHA regulations related to concrete work.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to understand project requirements and coordinate tasks.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Adapt to various weather conditions and different project environments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Concrete Mason (Required).
- Valid driver’s license (Required).
- CDL A and/or equipment operator experience is a plus.
- Understanding of construction principles, concrete mixing, and pouring techniques.
- Familiarity with different types of concrete mixes, finishing materials, and their appropriate applications.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Familiarity with straightedges, screeds, and other finishing tools used in masonry work.
- Healthy physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Keen eye for detail to achieve precise craftsmanship and meet quality standards.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of the job.

Pay
Starting at $29 per hour.
