Cement Mason

About the role

The Cement Mason is responsible for finishing the exposed concrete surfaces on various construction and roadbuilding projects, including stadiums, highways, foundations, and runways.

Responsibilities

• Smoothing out concrete in segments to ensure the poured concrete is level.
• Arranging concrete forms.
• Preparing the base.
• Maintaining proper drainage of handwork areas.
• Maintaining cut-off saw in safe operating condition.

Requirements

• Experience in the roadbuilding construction industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the roadbuilding construction industry.
• Commitment to the total Ajax team effort.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.
