About the role
The City of Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join the Department of Water and Power. The position involves mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces, and may involve acting as a head worker on a small crew.

Requirements
- Four years of full-time paid experience with the City of Los Angeles in a class at the level of Cement Finisher Worker performing duties in mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a cement finisher
- Four years of full-time paid experience as a cement finisher helper performing duties in mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver’s license for RAP, LAWA, and DWP positions; Class B and/or A driver’s license and medical certificate for DWP positions
- No more than six months of the required experience at the time of filing
- Valid medical certificate issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the time of appointment
- Commercial driving history in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles CVS Section 1808.1 for certain positions
- Verification of work experience through a Verification of Work Experience (VWE) form for applicants with City of Los Angeles experience

$103,021 (flat-rated)
