Full-time
Here’s the clean, semantic HTML fragment for the job posting (though this appears to be a product/service page rather than a job posting, I’ve reformatted it as if it were a role description for a **Sales/Technical Support Specialist** at ACFRI, based on the content):
We design and manufacture high-performance rapid-cooling and freezing cells for the foodservice, bakery, pastry, and catering industries. Our French-made equipment is built to order, energy-efficient, and backed by global sales, installation, and after-sales support.
About the role
Join our commercial team as a Sales/Technical Support Specialist, focusing on client needs in the foodservice, bakery-pastry, and catering sectors. You’ll advise customers on selecting and configuring custom rapid-cooling and freezing cells, provide technical guidance, and coordinate with our production and after-sales teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess their cooling/freezing needs and recommend tailored solutions from our product range.
- Configure custom cells (e.g., mixed GN1/1 stainless steel units, rapid-cooling/surgélation cycles) based on product type (pastries, meats, ice cream, etc.) and volume requirements.
- Explain technical specifications, patented technologies (e.g., Eco Concept II energy certification, R290 refrigerant), and performance guarantees.
- Coordinate with clients for on-site testing at our ACFRI LAB to validate equipment compatibility with their products.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure custom orders meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Provide post-sale support, including installation coordination, maintenance guidance, and troubleshooting.
- Manage international clients (Europe, Maghreb, DOM-TOM) for equipment delivery, installation, and training.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities for accessories or additional units.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, technical support, or project management within foodservice equipment, HVAC, or industrial refrigeration sectors.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, cooling/freezing processes, or bakery/pastry production workflows.
- Ability to interpret technical data (e.g., cycle times, load capacities, energy efficiency metrics) and translate it into client-friendly recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, installations, or trade shows (primarily in France/Europe).
Skills
- Technical aptitude: Understanding of refrigeration principles, energy efficiency, or industrial equipment design.
- Client-facing communication: Ability to explain complex technical details clearly to non-experts.
- Problem-solving: Troubleshooting client needs and proposing creative solutions (e.g., custom cycle configurations).
- Languages: Fluency in French; English or Arabic a plus for international clients.
- CRM/tools: Comfortable using sales software, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.
Benefits
- Work with cutting-edge, patented equipment designed and manufactured in France.
- Collaborate with a team of experts in refrigeration, engineering, and foodservice technology.
- Opportunity to shape solutions for diverse clients, from artisanal bakeries to large-scale catering operations.
- Access to ACFRI LAB for hands-on testing and product development.
