Cell Site Technician

About the role

As a Cell Site Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cellular infrastructure equipment. This includes setting up new cell sites, performing routine maintenance checks, and resolving technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure cellular equipment at various locations
• Perform routine maintenance checks on cell sites
• Resolve technical issues related to cell site equipment
• Work closely with network engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless operation of the cellular network

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in telecommunications or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cellular technology and network architecture
• Proficient in using tools and software for network diagnostics and repairs
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of cellular technologies such as LTE, 5G, etc.
• Experience with network management systems
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
• Good physical fitness to perform on-site work

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some weekend work required
