CELL LEADER

About the role

Plans, directs and coordinates activities of work cell to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame. Willing to fill in as needed in the work cell to aid in managing flow of product when needed. Upholstery skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily schedule to determine time for completing projects.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of schedule and arranges for assignment of personnel.
• Reviews and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares cell reports for management.
• Confers with plant management to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Make sure all team members specialize in one job, but are cross trained on others to keep the workflow going.
• Make sure all supplies are in the work area for employees to complete the job.
• Enforce company rules and regulations to employees.

Requirements

• Upholstery skills are required.
• While performing this job, individual must be able to regularly stand, use hands, walk, bend and must frequently lift.
