CEI Senior Landscape Inspector

Job Description

Oversees plant identification, classification, and grading in accordance with the “Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants” manual issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Applies extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.

Establishes and manages project deadlines independently.

Provides on-the-job training and mentorship to new employees.

Maintains accurate inspection records and conducts daily field inspections.

Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities.

Tracks and reports on quality assurance progress.

Prepares detailed landscape inspection reports, including photographic documentation and improvement recommendations.

Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations related to landscaping and plant management.

Attends pre-construction meetings to review landscape plans and identify potential improvements or concerns.

Maintains the health and condition of existing vegetation, recommending treatment or removal as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work.
• Valid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites.
