CEI Senior Construction Inspector

About the role

STV is seeking a CEI Senior Inspector to join our Inspection Team in either Franklin or Chattanooga, TN and be part of a growing organization. Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
• Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
• Making and checking engineering computations
• Inspecting construction work
• Conducting field tests
• Assist with geotechnical field exploration activities
• Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience
• TDOT Experience preferred
• Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience preferred

Certifications

Possess the following certifications or the ability to obtain within six (6) months from the date of hire:

• TDEC Level 1 EPSC
• TDOT HMA Certified Roadway Inspector
• TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician
• TDOT Concrete Field Technician or ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician
• TDOT Radiation Safety and Nuclear Gauge
• TDOT Soils and Aggregates
• Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging
• TDOT Intermediate MOT
• 10 Hour OSHA Safety Training

Pay

$88,649.00 - $100,737.00
