CEI Inspector (Utility / Road & Bridge)

About the Role

Barge is looking for a CEI Inspector to perform technical assignments including inspection of utility relocation, roadway construction, and bridge construction activities; oversight of contractor daily operations; performing materials sampling and verification testing; plans reading; field surveying; and construction engineering computations. Monitor construction progress, verify work completed, and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.

• Assist Senior Inspector

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in construction inspection
• 1 year in roadway and/or bridge construction

Qualifications

Ideal candidates shall possess the following certifications:

• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I
• FDOT Intermediate MOT
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sediment Control Certification

Candidates that possess some, but not all, of the above are eligible for employment consideration provided said certifications can be obtained within six months.
