About the role
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of genitourinary cancer.
Responsibilities
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents, and medical students
- Providing education, mentorship, and research support to hematology/oncology fellows
- Clinical care of patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP)
- Developing and growing an independent research program in translational genitourinary oncology
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology
- Evidence of scholarship (required on the clinician educator track)
