Schedule

• Typically works an 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Occasionally there will be additional hours required in a week to meet the demands of the job.
• Required to attend community board and committee meetings, and occasional City Council meetings.
• Regular attendance is expected.

Pay

• This opportunity is exempt and on Pay Grade #21.
• The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade.
• Hiring Rate: $86,806-$106,317

About the Role

The City of Coppell is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Library Manager to helm the Cozby Library and Community Commons. This role calls for an individual who will join our dedicated leadership team, committed to serving both our valued employees and our vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record and clean background.
• Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Association (ALA) - accredited program is preferred.
• Experience in operating and administering library services and programs in a municipal government setting.
