CDS Full Time Event Manager - Product Demonstration

About the Role

CDS (Club Demonstration Services) is seeking an Event Manager responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising in‑store Product Demonstrators. The role includes overseeing product preparation and presentation, training staff, and providing superb service to all Club members. The manager will coordinate communication between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, and participate in new location grand openings. CDS is the preferred in‑house event marketing provider to Costco.

Schedule

Set schedule of Tuesday‑Saturday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (may vary based on needs). Full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and hire part‑time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation.
• Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer service.
• Communicate between multiple managers, vendors, and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Able to coach and counsel employees and take appropriate measures as needed.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
