CDLA Shuttle Driver

About the role

Transport trailers and freight between facilities and customer yards within the region to support a large-scale food distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage logs and complete basic paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time shuttle schedules.
• Support efficient freight movement through the distribution network.
• Interact with operations teams and occasionally with customers to facilitate logistics.

Requirements

• CDLA license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to perform inspections and handle documentation accurately.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and efficient logistics operations.
