About the role

You will work independently as well as part of a team in the shipping and receiving department. Your responsibilities include driving multiple types of equipment including forklifts, pulling multiple orders simultaneously, using various types of equipment like box trucks and tractor trailers, and occasionally driving over-the-road. You must have a Class A CDL license and forklift certification or be able to obtain these certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively work with a team to complete jobs within deadlines
  • Successfully pull multiple orders simultaneously
  • Use multiple types of equipment, including Box Truck, Tractor Trailer, etc.
  • Willingness to drive Over the Road, when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Frequent exposure to high levels of dust and particles
  • High levels of noise due to multiple power tools and machines
  • Comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
  • Forklift certification and/or ability to obtain such certification is required
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to complete multiple tasks
  • Construction background is helpful but not necessary
  • Exhibit industry experience is helpful but not necessary
  • Be able to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
  • Understand the position requires remaining in a normal seated position for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds
  • Possess specific vision abilities to include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Qualifications

  • Required to hear and speak
  • Full-time position with days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (subject to change)
  • Mandatory overtime during peak season with possibility of working upwards of 12 hours per day, including weekends
