CDL Truck Driver | Tanker

About the Role

Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is a specialized division of Airgas that focuses on delivering CO2 (carbon dioxide) to support drink carbonation for businesses such as restaurants, bars, craft breweries, fast-food locations, and entertainment venues. As a Bulk CO2 Driver, you will operate a cryogenic tanker, making roughly 12-20 deliveries per day to replenish onsite cryogenic delivery systems known as Microbulk tanks. All ANC trucks are modern-day cabs with automatic transmissions, and we utilize an efficient slip-seat operation.

Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Safely transfer bulk CO2 product from the Airgas truck to the customer’s tank utilizing a hose hook-up.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company maintenance checklists.
• Collaboration: Ensure the route truck remains in proper, safe working order, and coordinate routine or required maintenance on a timely basis.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last three years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Qualifications

• CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus, but not required. We will train!

Pay

$27.50/hr

Schedule

Thursday-Sunday, with a choice of 2:00 AM or 1:00 PM start time, plus overtime availability.

Route Area

Within a 100-mile radius of Gilberts, IL.
