CDL Truck Driver Local No Touch Class A

Pay

• Weekly pay – drivers earn $1,300 or more per week.
• Solo miles pay: $0.72 per mile, with an average of 2,100 miles per week.
• Paid weekly.

Schedule

• Work days: Tuesday – Saturday.
• Flexible start time after 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from the last three years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Additional screening may be required for some positions (employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, road test, customer‑specific background requirements).
