Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a CDL Truck Driver / Equipment Operator to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders. This role involves driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. This position requires new hires to attend a two-week paid Academy training out of state, with all expenses covered by the company.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed in a team environment.
- Operate a variety of Class B trucks, including loading and unloading.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at the time of service.
- Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements and regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
- Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
- Observe all corporate operating guidelines, environmental health, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including emergency response on a rotating on-call basis every other week.
- Handle site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials (by position).
Requirements
- Valid CDL.
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
- Ability to use various mobile devices.
- Perform physical functions as required by the job.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical (by position).
- Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard, employees in positions requiring respirators must meet facial hair standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial driver experience.
- Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
- Previous Hazmat experience.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Previous manual labor experience.
Pay
Starting pay: Class B - $24-$28/hr, Class A - $28/hr+.
