CDL Truck Driver (Class A preferred)

About the Role

As a CDL Truck Driver at MacArthur Co., a 100% Employee-Owned company, you will deliver building materials to job sites and customer warehouses accurately, safely, and on time. This role allows you to be home each evening and on weekends, working closely with customers, team members, and supervisors to ensure projects meet company standards. You’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory levels, coordinating deliveries, and providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials (HVAC, Insulation, Roofing) to industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
• Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, proper securing, and compliance with weight restrictions.
• Provide quality service and support to customers.
• Work with customers and co-workers to coordinate deliveries and maintain inventory levels.
• Participate in team decision-making and build consensus.
• Meet delivery schedules while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Acceptable driving record and a current Class B CDL license with airbrakes (Class A preferred).
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• 1 year of prior commercial driving experience.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
• Knowledge of roofing, HVAC, and mechanical insulation is a plus.
