About the role

Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company seeking full-time CDL OTR drivers based in Spokane, WA. Drivers haul doors from Lynden to the Midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and beyond) and return with various freight in 53ft dry vans. Typical routes require drivers to be on the road for 11-12 days, including a 34-hour reset, with 2-3 days at home every other week. Longer road time is available for drivers who prefer extended trips. OTR lanes include deliveries to Michigan and Wisconsin, with return trips from Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee. 99% of OTR loads are no-touch.

Equipment includes newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Mack tractors. The company emphasizes supportive supervision, immediate roadside assistance, and flexible scheduling.

An hourly pay structure ensures drivers are compensated during traffic delays, road construction, or loading/unloading, allowing for safe speeds and necessary breaks.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53ft dry vans for OTR deliveries, primarily hauling doors and returning with various freight.
• Perform no-touch freight handling (99% of loads).
• Chain up, tailgate product, and assist in sorting doors during drop-offs.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, including logbooks and safety protocols.
• Represent the company professionally with strong customer service.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug and alcohol test.
• Physical fitness to handle chaining, tailgating, and product sorting.
• OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus.

Pay

• Competitive hourly wages ranging from $74,000 to $92,000 annually, based on 55 hours per week.
• Up to 15% higher base wages for experienced drivers.
• Paid while loading, unloading, and during traffic delays.
• Overtime paid for all hours worked over 40 in a week.
• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Up to $400 (eligible after the first full quarter following a 90-day probation period).
• Annual Gold Star Bonus: $400 (eligible after one full year of employment).
