CDL Truck Driver Class A or B Liquid waste
ABC Pumping Services is looking for a dependable, mechanically minded, safety-focused Pump Truck Driver with a Class A or B CDL. This role offers hands-on training, a path to commission-based earnings, and the opportunity to work in an essential industry serving residential and commercial customers.
About the role
During training, you'll receive an hourly wage while learning equipment, processes, safety standards, and customer service expectations. After training, you'll transition to a commission-based pay structure, allowing you to earn more based on your performance.
This role involves operating company pump trucks, providing septic and pumping services, and handling both scheduled and emergency service calls. You'll perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions, maintain equipment, and represent the company with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company pump truck safely and professionally
- Provide septic and pumping services for residential and commercial customers
- Respond to both scheduled and emergency service calls
- Perform physically demanding work in all types of weather
- Safely operate vehicles with manual transmissions
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements
- Complete scopes of work accurately with limited supervision
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Maintain equipment and report mechanical issues when needed
- Be available for early-morning starts, varying hours, and a rotating on-call schedule
- Represent ABC Pumping Services with honesty, professionalism, and a commitment to doing the job right
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Ability to read, understand, and complete scopes of work
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pumping or septic industry experience
- Tanker endorsement
- Aerobic septic system installer/service provider experience
- Mechanical or equipment experience
