CDL Tow Truck Driver

About the role

This full-time position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for handling daily dispatched wrecker calls.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily dispatched wrecker calls under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing environments, schedules, and applicable regulations.
• Manage and maintain tools and vehicles assigned.
• Work during regular working hours and additional duty time as needed.
• Travel out of the area and town as necessary.
• Participate in on and off-site training with exceptional results.
• Perform a diverse array of other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license endorsement.
• Military base access and TWIC card.
• Experience as a wrecker operator of heavy duty rollback trucks.
• Clean MVR.
• Fluent in the English language.
• Medical examiners certification.
• Willingness to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties.
• Pass a criminal history check.
• Pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a wrecker operator of heavy duty rollback trucks.
• Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license.
• No automatic restrictions.
• Must have or be able to obtain Lowboy/Landoll Ops equipment moving and flatbed experience.
• Must have medical examiners certification.
• Must have a clean MVR.
• Must have a valid USA issued driver’s license.
• Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members.
