CDL Route Driver

Job Description

We are hiring a CDL Route Driver in Rocky Mount, NC. The role involves safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders, managing customer relations, operating warehouse equipment, and adhering to hazardous material safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement or able to obtain within 60 days
• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
• Ability to lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience
• Touch freight delivery experience
