CDL Dump Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 6-axle dump truck to transport material safely and efficiently.
• Maneuver the truck into loading and unloading positions on varied terrain.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency systems are functioning properly.
• Verify load documentation for accuracy and compliance with legal weight limits.
• Secure loads and equipment according to safety standards.
• Promptly report vehicle issues, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation in accordance with DOT and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Follow verbal or written instructions to complete assignments.
• Demonstrate a responsible, safety-first mindset at all times.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, or equivalent, is preferred.
• A valid and insurable CDL, Class A is preferred.
• A valid DOT Medical Card.
• 2 Years of work experience operating 6-axle dump truck.
• Ability to occasionally self-load/assist with loading/unloading equipment.
• Understanding of DOT regulations.
• OSHA Trenching and Excavating Certificate (can be obtained once hired).
• OSHA 10-Hour Certificate (can be obtained once hired).
