CDL Dump Truck Driver

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate Super 16 dump truck safely and efficiently
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections
• Report and document maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Complete daily paperwork, including time sheets, truck reports, and scale tickets
• Load and unload materials as required
• Follow dispatcher instructions and job site directions
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and management
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
• Travel and work nights, overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements (Tanker endorsement (N) required)
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Valid DOT medical card
• Able to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions
• Able to travel and work flexible hours as required
• Must pass drug testing
• Able to work under the Head of AZ Travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Dump truck or Super 16 driving experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, and climb ladders or stairs
• Ability to reach above and below shoulder level
• Operate hand and foot controls safely
