CDL Driver - Rockford

About the role

We are growing and seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves delivering pre-hung doors and other supplies, requiring physical labor including loading and unloading products.

Responsibilities

• Use your CDL A license to deliver products to our customers.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of your truck, depending on the customer.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings, and follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage, or load onto a truck.

Requirements

• History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with a Class A CDL.
• Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity.
• Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn’t require constant supervision.
• Able to pass drug test, background check, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen.
• Must be able to pass a driving test and a physical examination as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Qualifications

This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings. Required to have a CDL A and a valid medical card.

Skills

Experience with a Class A CDL, strong physical stamina, and organizational skills are essential.

Schedule

Shift starts between 4-6 am and ends when deliveries are completed.
