CDL Driver Local Day Shift - Guaranteed 40 hours - Weekends and nights Off.

About the role

Essential Duties

• Plan and execute your daily delivery route efficiently and independently.
• Review customer orders, pick and stage materials in the warehouse, and load products accurately.
• Deliver to customer locations, unload products, and place items in designated areas.
• Communicate customer needs such as order changes, shortages, or product concerns to internal teams.
• Follow all company and DOT safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

• Support warehouse operations such as receiving, stocking, or order picking when available.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and related equipment.
• Aid team members and contribute to overall operational success.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Valid medical card and clean driving record.
• DOT Clearinghouse compliance.
• Prior experience driving a truck or tractor trailer.
• Age requirement: 23+.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using GPS and reading road maps.
• Adaptability to route, schedule, and delivery changes.
• Ability to meet company and regulatory safety/driver standards.
• Able to maneuver stock with hand trucks or powered pallet jacks.
• Desire to work safely, efficiently, and professionally at all times.

Working Conditions

• Combination of warehouse, truck cab, and customer site environments.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional team lifts up to 100 lbs.
• Exposure to seasonal weather and typical traffic conditions.
• Overtime and weekend availability may be required based on business needs.
