About the Role
InsightFS, headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin, with 23 branches across Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan, is seeking a truck operator to deliver and pick up agronomy and energy products. As part of the GROWMARK System, InsightFS serves approximately 50,000 customers in various agricultural sectors.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts following safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
- Perform and record daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
- Follow the preventative maintenance program and keep vehicles clean to maintain a professional appearance.
- Load and unload trucks according to company policies and DOT regulations.
- Ensure all deliveries, pick-ups, and associated documentation meet company expectations and standards.
- Maintain company equipment, adhere to the uniform policy, and uphold a professional image.
- Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, and relevant safety and regulatory policies.
- Perform basic shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Essential abilities: business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
- Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
Working Conditions
- Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
- Noisy conditions.
- Potential exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
