About the role
Select Water Solutions is seeking a Full-Time CDL Driver – Tanker & HazMat. This position offers a competitive pay range of $28/Hr - $30/Hr, non-exempt classification, and top-tier benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement savings plan with company match, and paid vacation days and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operate a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight.
- Build loads for deliveries and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.
- Load and unload oilfield equipment, ensuring quality control and safe operations.
- Maintain proper and current inspections of the vehicle.
- Comply with all DOT requirements and keep driver qualification and driving records updated.
- Ensure all paperwork is in correct order and transactions are documented.
- Drive courteously when in company uniform.
- Make all deliveries on time while maintaining safe driving practices.
- Work with Procurement in all deliveries and pick-ups.
- Represent the company in a respectable manner whenever in a Select uniform.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Work in yard and field as needed by supervisor.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Be competent with tractor trailer and all equipment.
- Ensure work being carried out is performed in a manner that is compliant with company safety standards.
- Perform assignments in an effective and efficient manner to ensure deliveries are accurate and secure.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a CDL A driver preferred.
- CDL A license.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Tanker and HazMat endorsement required.
- Meet all Federal Motor Carrier DOT requirements and safety qualifications.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Able to read and interpret driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical.
- Able to work night or weekend shifts as necessary.
- Detail-oriented due to the necessity of safety.
- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Able to thrive in a team environment.
- Certification from an accredited driving school and one year of similar driving experience may be substituted.
- Experience in the energy industry is preferred.
