CDL Driver - Delivery Driver

About the role

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class A or CDL Class B Driver for their Wilmington, NC location. The ideal candidate should have flatbed and Moffett experience and be willing to work overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to the job site
• Physically unload material per the customer's request
• Receive materials in the warehouse
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries
• Secure and distribute weight limits according to DOT regulations
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day
• Lifting over 100 lbs. may be required
• Deliveries include unloading shingles on one and two story homes
• 2 years CDL Class A driving experience or 1 year CDL Class B driving experience with air brake endorsement
• Box truck operating experience preferred
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Heavy lifting experience required
• Pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
