About the role
Conklin Metal Industries — a family-owned metals and HVAC Supply distributor operating since 1874 — needs a dependable Class B driver who wants a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, typical hours of 7am–4pm, and a truck that sleeps in the yard — not you. No OTR. No Sunday departures. No hotel rooms.
What your day looks like
- Out by 7am, back by 4pm most days
- Local and regional deliveries to contractors and fabricators
- Load, secure, and verify freight against bills of lading

This freight is sheet metal, HVAC supplies, and duct fabrication materials — not grocery pallets or retail boxes. You'll need to be comfortable with heavier freight (up to 122 lbs with assistance) and physical work throughout the day.
