The Anderson-DuBose Company, established in 1991, is a full-service distribution company for major quick service restaurants in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Maneuver vehicles and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles.
• Unload and deliver products to customers utilizing methodologies including manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments.
• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork, including collecting returned product and company assets (e.g., payments, carts, pallets).
• Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Complete company training and certifications as required.
• Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers.
• Position trailers at the appropriate loading dock for loading, which may occasionally occupy an entire shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL with at least two years of previous work experience utilizing this credential.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environment.
• Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience.
• Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of DOT rules, FMCSA guidelines, and OSHA regulations.
