CDL DRIVER (CLASS A)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods to and from specified destinations.
• C Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to management.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and complies with company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, hours of service, and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed, ensuring proper handling of products.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and Medical Certificate.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
• Registered with DOT Clearinghouse required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Forklift experience required.
• Agriculture/Farm Equipment experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
