CDL Driver (Boom Truck)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials to commercial job sites, warehouses, and residential homes
• Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, comply with weight restrictions, and ensure materials are properly secured
• Work with customers and co-workers to facilitate loading/unloading trucks and problem-solve any potential issues or concerns
• Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Help coordinate deliveries and maintain inventory levels
• Confirm delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service
• Avoid unnecessary delays and provide friendly and professional service
• Help load and unload trucks during any downtime

Requirements

• Current CDL License
• One year of prior commercial driving experience
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Qualified motor vehicle records for the past 3 years
• Follow the safety expectations set by the company's safety policies
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
• A customer service, team-oriented focus is of utmost importance
• Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy and careful attention towards quality work
• Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed
• Knowledge of roofing, siding, and other building products is helpful, but not required
