CDL Driver (Boom Experience)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate, safe and on time delivery of building materials (HVAC, Insulation, Roofing)
• Provide quality service and support to our customers
• Inspect loaded truck for order accuracy, comply with weight restrictions, and proper securing
• Work with customers and co-workers
• Help coordinate deliveries and assist in maintaining inventory levels
• Work as a team in the decision-making; build consensus rather than make decisions alone
• Avoid delays and ensure that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service

Requirements

• Acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of prior commercial driving experience
• Prior boom certification preferred
• Knowledge of roofing, HVAC, and mechanical insulation
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Properly use and maintain equipment
• Willing to jump in and roll up your sleeves to help out when necessary
• Lead by example, with first-hand knowledge of area of expertise
