CDL Driver - Auto Side Load (Fort Pierce, FL)

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-operation checks of commercial vehicles in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles on allocated routes encompassing roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Manually and/or automatically operate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with FCC's safety regulations and procedures.
• Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely and professional service delivery.
• Continuously monitor vehicle status to ensure operational readiness and reduce downtime.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintain departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced effectively.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL Class A or B.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
