Brief Description
CDL drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailer equipment and maintaining proper operation to transport material to designated locations in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Class A CDL Driver Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Work: Full Time, 10-12 hours a day- 5 days a week, during Harvest expanded days/hours may be required. Flexibility in working hours is required, as the shifts may vary, starting as early as 2am and ending between 10am-12pm
- LOCATION: Union Grove, WI
- Pay: Paid by the load which varies.

Essential Job Functions of CDL Driver
- Maintain safe driving practices and follow D.O.T. regulations
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out
- Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment on the road and in the yard
- Tarp load when needed, verify gates are closed
- Clean spilled material/buildup off box
- Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written)
- Read maps and navigate to new locations
- Work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition
- Provide Delivery service as required by established delivery standards
- Interact with customers and managers
Physical Demands
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms
- Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL and Federal Medical card
- All applicants must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Minimum of 1 year experience driving with a CDL
