CDL Driver

About the Role

Service Partners is hiring a CDL Driver to deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations. This role is a key ambassador for our company, building relationships with customers while operating a tractor-trailer combination locally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination for local deliveries.
• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks, including frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Read, write, and understand English; use navigation software.
• Perform any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid Class A or Class B driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three-axle vehicle.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Travel Requirements

• Eighty (80%) percent of work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle.
• The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.
• May require overnight travel.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on specific job duties.

Pay

Compensation range: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
