Responsibilities
- Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Pick-up loads, organize goods in the truck, and secure packages
- Transport pallet goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination
- Avoid delays by communicating with dispatch as needed
- Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check oil, tire pressure, minor repairs, etc.)
- Complete daily pre-trip, during trip, and post-trip inspection as required
- Track and report working hours
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license required
- MUST have step deck experience
- 6+ months of driving a class A or larger truck a plus
- Good driving record with minimal moving violations
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks a plus
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must pass a DOT Physical, background check, and drug test

- Ability to communicate effectively with production and install crews
