Position Overview

The position involves operating heavy trucks and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. The driver collaborates with field teams to manage water supply, transfer, and disposal operations.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains the maintenance and repair of the truck.
  • Loads and unloads the truck as required.
  • Ensures the truck and driver are compliant with all DOT requirements.
  • Maintains driver qualification records, time, and driving records.
  • Operates the truck safely following all Peak's driving policies.
  • Possesses a CDL license and is eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Peak's insurance guidelines.
  • May require additional endorsements such as Hazmat and Tanker.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Regularly performs in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat.
  • Near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
