CDL Driver

Primary Function

Must have experience driving trucks, passenger buses and dumb trucks.

Typical Duties

• Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values
• Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards, while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
• To work well with supervision
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Owe obey traffic laws
• Aid passengers
• Adhere to schedules
• Keep the bus clean
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers
• Use equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks
• Identify safety hazards
• Take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision

Physical/Special Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces
• Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in Confined Spaces
• Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment and/or trailers
• Work may include occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing a minimum of 35 pounds to a maximum of 100 pounds, with assistance, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools
• Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties. Work normally requires eye-hand coordination

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving on roads, and plants
• Must be able to pass equipment/trucks/buses test and visual observation of operating equipment
• Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, and Client/Site specific training
• Obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program
• Must pass a Background
