Core Responsibilities
- Transport residents on shopping/medical trips, group events, cultural events and other appointments as needed
- Monitor minor vehicle maintenance, gas usage, mileage log, oil changes and cleaning vehicles inside and out
- Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding resident rights
- Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators
- Demonstrate the ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Experience and Skills
- Solid working knowledge of Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington county roads/addresses
- Basic understanding of auto mechanics, key fob entries and computer programmed key fob operation
- Ability to assist residents with boarding, seating, loading, unloading packages, and wheelchair accessibility protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid, current CDL with bus endorsement
- Oregon Driver’s License and a safe driving record for a minimum of the previous three years
- Knowledge/Certification in First Aid and CPR

Schedule
This is a full time position scheduled to work Thursday to Sunday. Hours may vary depending on departmental needs with availability to work nights, weekends and holidays required.
