CDL Driver
Irby Utilities is a leading utility distribution organization, providing dynamic solutions to essential utility services in local and broader communities. We are hiring CDL-A drivers for our Rapid City, SD location.
About the role
As a CDL-A driver at Irby Utilities, you will deliver merchandise to customers, assist with scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials, and support local business objectives. You will interact with customers, warehouse teams, and operational leadership while upholding safety and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise to customers and assist with scheduling, loading, and unloading of materials
- Comply with Irby and DOT safety rules and regulations
- Uphold the integrity of the branch team through exceptional service standards and efficiency
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card and Clearinghouse consent
- Ability to reach, bend, and lift/push packages that weigh up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
