CDL Driver

About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is a family‑owned business with over 100 locations nationwide, a full‑line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products. The company services professional contractors, homeowners, building owners, architects and general contractors, delivering high quality and value. Drivers are the face of the company on job sites, responsible for safely transporting materials, loading and securing loads, and supervising site activities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the most efficient route to each job site while obeying all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in loading, securing, and unloading materials using crane, conveyor, piggybacks, or by hand.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Climb rooftops and ladders as required to ensure proper stacking of materials.
• Lead, instruct, and supervise others on the job site.
• Work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid state CDL Class A or B driver’s license with a clear MVR and DOT record.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Current and valid Medical Certification Card.
• At least one year of consecutive CDL driving experience.
• High degree of attention and dexterity in vehicle control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb; repeatedly lift up to 100 lb and climb a 40‑ft ladder.
• Willingness to work on rooftops (location‑based).
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
• Pass company‑required drug screening; subject to random testing.
• Preferred: prior material‑handling experience, forklift experience, or crane certification.
