Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service.
• Operate a piggyback (TMFL Forklift) and other specified equipment; additional training may be required.
• Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips.
• Handle deliveries professionally and courteously, representing the company positively.
• Unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive.
• Adhere to all driving regulations, including wearing a seatbelt.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
• Use proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing.
• Attend and participate in all required meetings and training programs related to material delivery and company policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience.
• Ability to operate a piggyback (TMFL Forklift) and other company vehicles.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of forklift operation and building materials.
• Works well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping, and manipulation.
• Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift, or similar equipment for multiple hours a day.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Push and pull carts loaded over various distances and surfaces; some functions may be performed as a team.
• Ability to learn how to operate miscellaneous tools and equipment, including dollies, flat carts, and rock carts.
• Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned.

Pay

Base pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour. The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
