CDL Driver

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service
• Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips
• Ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positively
• Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
• Use proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing

Requirements

• Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL
• NCCCO certification preferred
• Experienced boom operators without certification will also be considered
• Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
• Works well in a team environment
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Job Requirements

Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation. Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day. Occasionally lift and/or move 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.

Pay

Base: $28.00-32.00 per hour, DOE. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
