Position Overview

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), our CDL Drivers are essential—delivering materials safely, efficiently, and with pride. Enjoy local routes, daily home time, competitive pay, and a supportive culture built on safety and respect. Must be able to operate a piggyback (TMFL Forklift) Possess a valid CDL license (Class A)

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation
  Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service
• Delivery & Customer Service
  Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips
  Ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positively
• Safety
  Adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
  Use proper lifting techniques
  Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Communication
  Attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company
  Training Requirements
  Attend and participate in all required company training programs

Qualifications

• Possess valid Class A CDL License
• Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience
• Works well in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Base: $ 26.00-30.00 per hour
