Description of Responsibilities
- Perform daily inventory management duties consisting of: cycle counting, RF scanning, maintain database records, and systems.
- Pick and pack pharmaceutical product inventory with optimum accuracy using warehouse management system and RF scanners.
- Perform raw material sampling, inventory counts, and HAZMAT shipments.
- Train to follow OSHA safety guidelines and practices, use a forklift, and other automated equipment.
- Attend OSHA regulated safety certification classes.
- Wrap pallets for stability load product properly to minimize damage.
- Cookout proper metering of outbound packages shipping via commercial logistics companies to ensure proper destination and company billing.
- Learnt effective picking methodologies, proper pallet construction and operation of automated wrapping machine.
- Stock warehouse shelves using FIFO rotation to ensure product quality and expiration dates are valid.
- Aid with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
- Engage and coordinate with maintenance teams as well as vendors.
- Manage all aspects of the warehouse and ensure transportation requirements are met in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Skills and Experience
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in warehouse supply shipping and receiving.
- Knowledge of common safety practices and protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to meet deadlines and effective organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to use common office machinery.
- Ability to work well as a team player in a challenging work environment.
- Skill in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in the construction trade.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
- Experience with MS Office applications.
Environmental Factors/Physical Effort
- Works in indoor and outdoor environments that contain excessive heat, cold and humidity, excessive dampness, dust, solvents, grease, oils, moving machinery with moving parts, moving object or vehicles, and slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Frequently lifts parts and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally over fifty pounds.
- Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and stretching for prolonged periods will be necessary.
Required Citizenship and Clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
