CDL Driver
Duties
- Making deliveries with various commercial motor vehicles (semi-tractor, straight truck, pick-up truck + trailer), truck-mounted forklifts
- Loading trucks and trailers
- Additional work in the shop may include material handling, staging, and loading trailers for pick-up
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with airbrake endorsement and current DOT medical card
- Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsement is a plus
- Clean driving record, no major moving violations, including drug or alcohol offenses
- Familiarity with electronic Hours of Service logging applications is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet the required norms on aptitude tests
- OSHA 30-hour training preferred; company will train as needed
- Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds, stand, bend, and crouch throughout an 8-hour shift
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to acquiring industry-specific knowledge and displaying a positive attitude
- Safety regulations must be followed at all times, including using hearing, hand, knee, and foot safety equipment
