CDL Driver A

About the role

CDL Drivers will operate a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, interacting with customers, managing inventory, and assisting with branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
• Absorb and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Partners with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
• Aid with other branch responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Experience operating a Manual shift may be preferred
• Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift may be preferred
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head on a daily basis
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay

Starting pay will depend on factors such as location and experience and will always meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.

Schedule

Our schedule varies based on the needs of our customers and the demands of the job. Shifts may vary and can include early morning, late night, and weekend hours.
